Artmobia is more than a website. It is a network of artists, curators, gallerists, collectors, and anyone else who is interested in artistic practices and contemporary artistic discourse. Artmobia connects those who produce art with like-minded individuals, broadening the exposure for his or her practice beyond what a personal website can do. In order to find an artist's personal website, interested parties must know where to look. Artmobia facilitates direct contact between artists and potential buyers, gallerists, and curators. A link to an artist's personal website link can still be a component of his or her Artmobia portfolio page.

HOW CAN ARTMOBIA HELP ARTISTS?
Artists build unique, self-curated landing pages with powerful, streamlined tools that enable active engagement. By hosting a limited number of artwork images, Artmobia compels an artist to present their highest-quality and most current creations. Artist profiles support blog posts, videos, and other imported content that expands public insight into the history, influences, and processes behind each artist’s work. One hundred percent of sales go directly to the artist, enabling creators to find buyers and control profits independently.

HOW CAN ARTMOBIA HELP COLLECTORS AND ART APPRECIATORS?
Art appreciators of all professions and interests can access a tailored platform that fosters connection and discovery within the art world. Users can easily tag artists and works that catch their interest for future reference, purchase original works and high-quality prints via direct conversation with artists, and expand their understanding of artistic practices through educational and informational features.

HOW DO I USE ARTMOBIA?
Artmobia's dynamic, generative environment exists as five distinct sections:

DISCOVER features artist pages and artwork with custom searching and browsing functions, allowing users to easily locate items suited to their aesthetic taste and preferences. Previous searches and recently viewed pages are saved for personal convenience. Works can be expanded for detailed viewing and added to the user's personal drawer. Key search terms and related links allow users to encounter new artists through a flexible browsing interface.

LEARN houses artist and user blogs, reference articles, and news features. It is an informational hub for all visitors, designed to generate global conversation. Content is produced by Artmobia's specialized staff writers, and guest posts are also welcome.

REMEMBER functions as a personalized, user-specific base from which members can track and save artists, artwork, and articles. Items can be saved and revisited for future research and purchases.

COLLECT allows users to simply and efficiently reference purchased and sold artwork. It punctuates Artmobia's platform as a site created to foster an open, direct exchange between artists and those who appreciate art.

ARTMOBIA LOCAL acts as a hub for cities and regions, linking neighbors in the art community with one another to facilitate direct interactions. Each city’s page compiles local events, news stories, galleries, and artists to connect patrons with their neighbors and happenings in the offline world.

CAN AN ART GALLERY USE THE ARTMOBIA SERVICE?
Yes. Art galleries and dealers are welcome to take advantage of Artmobia's cost-effective service to showcase and sell their artists' work. One or multiple portfolio accounts may be created to conveniently present and sell artwork. Users (including artists, galleries, and curators) can use the Artmobia service as their personal website to showcase their work professionally. Artists can also use artmobia to help them find galleries and curators that may be interested in their work, while curators and gallerists are able to quickly and easily access an extensive variety of works for inclusion in potential shows and exhibits. In addition, galleries can post news articles and events using Artmobia Local to continue their interaction with patrons offline.

HOW CAN I BUY AND SELL WORK?
Users can create artist accounts on the “log in” page. Existing Artmobia patrons can also upgrade their accounts to sell work. If artists wish to sell work, they will follow the "sell an item" link to review and approve the terms and conditions of Artmobia's sales agreement. Sellers are charged an annual fee of $119, which includes four profile updates with additional updates at $30 each. The seller will be directed to the "manage portfolio and works" page as soon as the PayPal transaction is confirmed.

Galleries can create special gallery accounts through the “log in” page or via the Artmobia Local page for the city in which they are located. The annual fee for a gallery is $180, which will not be charged until submissions are approved.

IF I AM AN ARTIST, WHAT CAN I POST ON MY PROFILE?
Artists curate their profile through Artmobia's custom portfolio manager. Artist portfolios include artist statements, C.V., up to nine artworks, embedded video, social media links, and up to three gallery or dealer contacts. Content can be previewed by selecting "live view" but must be approved by an administrator before it is publicly posted.

CAN I POST ARTWORKS THAT ARE NOT FOR SALE?
Yes, listing a price is optional. Sellers can choose to list works as "not for sale at this time," or prompt viewers to "contact artist/gallery for price," if they do not wish to list the price publicly.

CAN I SELL REPRODUCTIONS ON ARTMOBIA?
Sellers can offer reproductions of their work via society6, by pasting a link to the same work's page here. The "become a user" link within the society6 description will lead to the site's sign up/log in page.

IS THERE SALES TAX?
Sellers must include sales tax directly in the work's listed price.

CAN I CONTACT OTHER USERS DIRECTLY THROUGH THE SITE?
Yes, users can send each other messages through Artmobia. To reply to received messages, click "send a reply" on any email message received. Attachments may be sent via email. Only image and PDF files are accepted as attachments.
